Digital Displays Await Visitors
Staff -- graphic arts online, 4/1/2002
Awaiting visitors to the On Demand exposition this month are the displays of well over 125 exhibitors, who will be showing products in about 60 individual categories in six main groupings: prepress solutions, digital printing systems, postpress and finishing, on-line providers, services to the trade, and supplies and substrates.
Each year's expo is the scene of breakthrough announcements, evolutionary advances, new software releases, digital printing and publishing products, supplier alliances, and marketing initiatives.
Organizers note that the event is designed to appeal to attendees in two distinct categories:
Print service providers: binders and finishers, book printers and publishers, commercial printers, copy centers, corporations, forms printers, government agencies and institutions, graphic artists and design firms, mail houses, on-line providers, outsourcers, quick printers, software suppliers, specialty printers, and trade shops.
Business communicators: advertising and marketing executives, corporate and financial officers, designers and illustrators, educators, facilities managers, human resources professionals, in-plant printers, IT professionals, MIS and data center managers, production managers, public relations managers, reprographics departments, and Web and Internet developers.
The On Demand strategy conference is set up to appeal to registrants from each of these categories.
Following is a list of exhibitors; see the official event guide at the show for a complete listing.
