Study Measures Market Share

TrendWatch Graphic Arts, a Cahners Business Information research unit, is this month launching a market-share benchmark study to determine the installed base for key graphic arts products.
To be studied are consumables (film, plates, and proofing media), hardware (workstations and computers, imagesetters, platesetters, digital proofing devices, scanners, and digital and offset presses), and software (desktop, photo-manipulation, illustration, Web design, video editing, and color and digital asset management).
The study, offered to participating companies for $20,000 and set for release in June 2002, features phone and mail surveys, reliable methodology, extensive tabulation, data verification, and cross-study comparison. The report includes present penetration levels and five-year forecasts.
