Two Facilities to Combine

CHICAGO—Vertis Advertising Production Services, a provider of premedia services, plans to combine facilities in Broadview, Ill. and Chicago into a new plant in Chicago.

The facility, which accounts for 52,000 square foot of space, is located at e-port, Chicago's historic riverfront property that was recently transformed into a hub of telecommunication and new media companies.

"The new e-port location will provide our clients and employees with a more vibrant environment to inspire creativity and productivity," says Joe Ries, who headed Vertis/The LTC Group in Broadview and now serves as managing director of the combined Chicago facility.

Vertis, which is headquartered in Baltimore, provides integrated advertising and marketing solutions amounting to $1.9 billion in annual sales.

Products and services include consumer and media research, media targeting, digital media production, advertising insert and direct marketing programs, circulation-building newspaper products and services, e-marketing, and strategic media consulting.
