Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., Elmsford, N.Y., has established a new subsidiary, Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., that is intended to strengthen the industry's distribution channel following its planned acquisition, valued at $118.4 million, of PrimeSource Corporation, Pennsauken, N.J., and purchases of Graphic Systems, Inc., Moorestown, N.J., and Heartland Imaging, Kansas City, Kan., all major Fujifilm dealers.
The resulting company, which will employ more than 1,000 people, operate about 60 locations, and bill upwards of $800 million, will offer Fuji products but most offerings, managers say, will be from other companies. James F. Mullan is to serve as president of Enovation, reporting to chief executive Steve Yoneda.
