Printer Acquires Publishing Firm

NATICK, MASS.—Champagne/Lafayette, which provides design, marketing, and printing services, has acquired Automation Graphics, Inc., a family-owned business that offers specialty publishing. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Rampart Associates LLC, Trumbull, Conn., a consulting firm specializing in the graphic arts and information technology industries, initiated the acquisition for Champagne/Lafayette. Rampart's John Hyde, a principal of the firm, says that Champagne/Lafayette is considering additional strategic transactions.
