myfujifilm.com Adopts FSP Hosting

Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., Hanover Park, Ill., has chosen Breakaway Solutions, Inc., Conshohocken, Pa., a full-service provider (FSP) of integrated strategy, implementation, and application hosting solutions for collaborative e-businesses, to provide managed hosting services for Fujifilm's myfujifilm.com e-production Web site. The site is expected to be released this month.

Myfujifilm.com provides printers, trade shops, advertising agencies, publishers, designers, and print producers with new e-production methods. The company selected Breakaway Solutions to provide rapid-hosted and managed support services for myfujifilm.com's digital production and asset management application, incorporating solutions from Engage, Group Logic, and Markzware.

"Breakaway Solutions has the infrastructure, personnel, and expertise in place globally to provide these services to larger customers like Fujifilm,'' says Breakaway Solutions president and chief executive Bill Loftus. "Being able to deliver services outside our data centers enables us to provide a lower cost of entry."

In addition to reducing costs, myfujifilm.com's managed and hosted solution will enable Fujifilm's customers to benefit from the following:
