Customers build their own newspaper via the Niiu Website before 2 p.m., selecting specific pages and sections, and the paper is printed and delivered next day. Niiu allows the reader to be the editor, and is aimed at students, who pay 1.20 euros. Non students pay 1.80 euros--the price of most German newspapers. The newspaper is delivered Monday through Saturday, first in Berlin,

Niiu expects to print 5,000 copies in the next six months on its Oce JetStream 2200. Later readers can select the page size of their issues. The digital press features a line speed of 150 m/min and has the capacity to produce more than 2,000, 36-page tabloid newspapers per hour.
