Laschinger Named President of xpedx
Replacing the current president, Tom Kadien, at printing industry supplier

CINCINNATI, Ohio, Nov. 10, 2009—Mary Laschinger has been named president of xpedx, replacing the current president, Tom Kadien. xpedx is a division of International Paper (IP), where she will also serve as senior vice president.As the current president of IP Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mary has leadership responsibility for the company’s pulp, paper, and packaging businesses in Europe, Russia, and North Africa. She has been with IP since 1993, holding positions of vice president of the Wood Products business, vice president of Pulp, general manager of Industrial Papers, and various senior management roles in sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Mary is the lead director for International Paper on the board of directors of the recently formed joint venture in Russia with Ilim Holding S.A. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Confederation of European Paper Industries.
Prior to joining International Paper, she was with Kimberly-Clark and the former James River Paper Company in various senior management roles.
