Unifoil Installs Maxson Sheeter

Fairfield, New Jersey (Press Release)—Unifoil Corporation (www.unifoil.com), a leading global specialty converter of paper, board, synthetic paper, plastic, film, foil, and custom holographic and metallized substrates, has again purchased advanced sheeting technology from Maxson Automatic Machinery Company (www.maxsonautomatic.com). Increased demand at Unifoil for custom registered holographic and recyclable packaging and printing materials, including the company’s UniLustre® and Holographic UniLustre® papers and boards, which can help reduce a company’s carbon footprint, prompted investment in the new equipment. Consumer-product-goods manufacturers will benefit from Unifoil’s additional production capacity and improved efficiencies.
The acquisition includes Maxson’s Dual Knife Rotary Sheeter, Automatic Web Splicer, Easy Access Slitter, Non Marking Overlap Carriage, and Dual Position Shaftless Roll Stand. Unifoil’s new Dual Knife Rotary Sheeter and the complementary components are designed to provide high-speed continuous-run precise cutting.
